Summertime is one of the best times of year to play golf. If you are a golfer, or if you are looking for a recipe for giving golf gifts, then consider putting together an after golf game BBQ or picnic. It doesn’t have to be anything elaborate, in fact, the simpler the better.

If you are a golfer that enjoys golfing in the morning, then throwing together a brunch picnic for after you game is a great option. When selecting the Jewish recipes for your brunch picnic you will want to keep things light. Select recipes like muffins, scones, bagels, cream cheese spreads, locks, fresh fruit and light cheeses. For drinks keep things bubbly, fresh and light. Mimosas, juices, iced teas and coffees and mineral waters are all good choices.

If you prefer to play golf in the afternoon or evenings than an evening BBQ is a great after game option. Since you will be eating later in the day, heartier foods can be served. Good beef brisket Jewish recipes can be used to create the focus of the BBQ. You can then serve side dishes like corn on the cob, potato salad, noodle salads, fresh veggies, grilled veggies, chips and dip and watermelon. For beverages you can serve basically anything you want. If you don’t know what everyone wants, fill a big tub with ice and stock it with a variety of bottled and canned drinks like soda pop, wine coolers, beer, iced coffee, etc.
